Today we helped pack up a little bit in the morning. My mom, Grandma, and Jennifer were leaving this afternoon. Jamie & Joe had left the night before. Andy headed out for some more standup paddleboarding in a bit calmer conditions. He said that without the strong winds it was much easier.
After he returned we headed out for a short nature hike from a cute little city park to Agate Beach. It was a nice hike in wonderful weather. My mom, Grandma, & Jennifer left about halfway through the hike to head for home. Our family & my dad continued on. We spent a little time at the beach, and then headed home after about an hour. Once we got back to the house we ate lunch & then we spent the afternoon cleaning & packing. It was a quiet relaxing day.
Day 10
Today we woke up early & hit the road. We stopped at my house for a short 45min or so. Jamie took the big kids each on a horseback ride. They LOVED it.
From Salem we headed on to Enterprise. We stopped once on the way to get lunch in the Dalles. But the kids were pretty tired so they all slept a bit on the way. We arrived at Sarah's around 7pm. The kids spent the next several hours getting acquainted. They were fast friends. :)
