Family Visit & Zoo Trip

As you know, Sarah & her family came down from Oregon to visit for a long weekend. We got to go on a house warming/Christmas shopping spree & a zoo trip with our SEVEN kiddos. We ate tons of great food & had our fair shares of drinks to go with it!

Cora's 2mo Stats

Well, my littlest little is actually the littlest of the littles, at her age. She is 10lbs 13oz (40%) and 23.5in (50%). The doc says that she is doing well & moving up in the percentiles & that is all that matters. She is alert, making eye contact, tracking objects & has even started to coo & blow bubbles. Cute-est thang evar!!!
She also got 3 shots & 1 oral vaccine today, but handled them wonderfully. I just can't say it enough. She is such a sweetheart! I love her so much!!

In other news, Lincoln got his new medication (Afinator) and he will be starting it next week, after we get over the sniffles that we all have. And I had Dr. R put in for a speech evaluation through Early Intervention for Roxy. So we should be getting a call from them soon.

Two Months Old

Cora is already two months old! This last month has really flown by!

Cora is an amazing baby. Probably just as good as Roxy was temperament wise. She sleeps wonderfully and seems to be eating well. She sleeps a good five to six hour stretch at night & then again in the afternoon. And she does a length cluster feed in the evening & sometimes in the morning as well. We will get the official word on her weight gain at her 2 month well baby check up on Friday. I have a feeling that she will be a light (compared to my other bottle-fed babies) at around 10 lbs, but she is alert & getting bigger so I think that is what is important.

Here she is in her 2 month picture (a few days late). She refused to lean against the back of the couch insisting that she could sit up on her own. And she did for a short period of time!
