Inspections Complete!

The inspections are complete. We are moving in tomorrow!!! :)

School's Out for the Summer!

Actually, Lincoln's last day of school was the 18th of May. The following week my parent's came to help us start the moving process, so I didn't have much time to post updates.

On Lincoln's last day they had a little celebration/graduation for the kiddos. There were still only 4 kids in Lincoln's class, so it was a small group, but all of the kids' families came & our girls had some fun playing with the toys & making friends with everyone else in the room. We all sang some songs together & the kids got to come up & get some "awards". Lincoln was the only kid in the class who was still 3. There was one 4 yr old girl who will be returning to the classroom next year with Lincoln. And two 5 year old boys who were graduating to kindergarten next year.

Final Inspection

The final inspection & appraisal is coming up on Thursday. If everything goes well, we should be able to move in this weekend!! :D

Kitchen Completion!!

Andy has been working so hard on finishing up the kitchen cabinets in time for the bank appraisal. He has worked nonstop on these things for over a month now. They look amazing & I can't wait to start using them!! :)

Construction Break

While doing some work at the new house, Andy took a short construction break yesterday to read June a book.

It's almost June

It is almost the month of June & things are starting to wrap up at the new house. We are almost a month behind schedule at this point & it looks like it will still be about 1.5-2.5wks until we get the go ahead to move in. While my parents were in town this past week, we moved all of the non-essential stuff up to the house & it is all being stored in the closets, garage, & storage room. All that we currently have left at the old house are the beds, rugs, couches, high chairs, dressers, clothes, towels, bathroom essentials, toys, blankets & food. Still a lot of stuff to move really, but probably only about half of what we own. So we really did make some good progress while my family was here. I will try to post some new pictures once we get the kitchen cabinets finished up this weekend. We can't wait to settle into our new house! :)
