The other day I had to wake the kids up to get to an appointment on time. I thought I would catch June's wake-up on video. She is such a sweetheart!

More Cora Firsts

Here are some videos of Cora doing new things! In the first she is scooting herself across the floor to get to toys. In this one she is trying her first solid food (sweet potato puffs) and loving it! In the last one she is trying her first puree (pears) and not liking it very much. She much prefers to just chew on the spoon!

Six Month Comparison!

6 Months Old

As I always say, I just cannot believe how fast the past 6 months have gone. How can my little Cora be 6 months old already?? And yet I look at newborns and they are just entirely different creatures than Cora is now at 6 months old.

She is so close to crawling now. She gets up on her knees & rocks all of the time. She babbles and watches her siblings & the world around her with fascination, and seemingly some understanding of what is going on as well. It is wonderful to see her little personality emerge. She is so similar to the way June was as a baby. A go go goer, on the move early & never looking back.

According to the pediatrician she is 14lbs 7oz (20%) & 26in (60%). She is such a tiny little thing. The pedi says not to worry about her weight, she is just small but healthy. And always she continues to be so so sweet.

She moved into her crib in the nursery about 2 weeks ago. She did wonderfully in there the first week, but has had troubles sleeping this past week, waking 5-7 times per night. Exhausting... Not sure what is going on, maybe a growth spurt, maybe she is constantly working on her crawling skill and is overstimulated. When we go shopping this weekend we will be buying baby food & she will get her first tastes of solids (purees & puffs). Maybe that will help her gain some weight & get her to sleep better at night?? We will see.

Just Minutes Away

Our baby girl is just minutes away from crawling! She already is able to scoot short distances to get things that she wants, but now she is so so close to being a completely mobile crawler!

Notice how Roxy likes to gather her favorite toys & carry them with her. What a silly girl! June knows the secret, you can run much faster & crash into the doors at the end of the hallway much easier (and louder) if your hands are empty! ;)
