Roxy's New Bedroom

Roxy was having a really hard time sleeping in her crib next to our bed. Whenever we would so much as roll over she would stir or wake up. She would almost 100% of the time wake up when Andy's alarm would go off in the morning, or if one of us had to get up in the middle of the night for Lincoln or June. It was really difficult, and it had gotten so bad that Andy & I would hardly be able to talk once we were in the bedroom for fear of waking her.

She could definitely not go into June's or Lincoln's room yet, because she is still waking at night, and unfortunately all of my kiddos are super light sleepers, just like me. So where could we put her? Our first thought was the master closet. But that didn't really add much quietness with the noisey pass over doors, and sharing the wall with June. Plus, we really need that room for storage for all of our junk. So we were thinking maybe one of the bathrooms...after all, we do have two, and barely use one of them. Our first choice was the guest bathroom, because this is the room that is barely used. Unfortunately her crib was too large to fit in there. So that left the master bathroom.

Once we moved her, the crib fits perfectly, and we can even access some of the drawers, the sink, and the toilet still! We filled the shower with boxes of stuff we have bought for the new house, and moved some other stuff around, and so far it is working perfectly. It will be a bit difficult when guests come over, but I think well work the hours of sleep each night that the household was losing because of the close quarters.

Here it is! Her new bedroom! ;)
